Today I launch PsychromeTree 1.2.0.11 which is also
officially called the gold release. In other words,
development is finished on this little app. I hope it
will come in handy to those few who actually know what
psychrometry is!
Check out the Software page to download the latest
version.

Last week we launched
rwReview.com, a website that provides
reviews and tutorials on everything Rapidweaver.
There are even some mySQL tutorials mixed in there ;)
Check it out!

I know I promised to make this piece of software... but
after starting the development process and considering
the software solutions already out there I decided to
stop. Sorry.
I you need software to calculate the properties of mixed
air for Windows, try
http://www.mcquay.com/McQuay/DesignSolutions/Software.
I haven't found anything for Mac OS X yet, so if you
find one please let me know.

Good news! A new version of PsychromeTree is now
available for download.
This new version now supports SI units as well as IP
units!
There are also some background changes which are hardly
noticeable but that do affect it's overall precision.
The future is bright for this little app, so check back
soon!

2 days have gone by and already another version!
I believe this is going to be a welcome one since you can
now simply tap Enter or Return (even the numpad enter
will do) to start the calculation process.
You can now also check what version you have by going to
Help -> About... in PsychromeTree, so you can make
sure you are running the latest version.
The next version will allow input and output in
International units! So check back soon!
Oh yeah, BTW, you can now subscribe to my blog's RSS feed
to get the news as soon as it is revealed!

For a few days now I have been squashing bugs in the
PsychromeTree app and I am proud to say it is coming
along quite nicely.
All known bug have been squashed for now, so I will start
working on new features!
The latest version is available for download on the
software page.

After a lot of hard work I have finally finished the
first BETA of PsychromeTree. Most bugs have been ironed
out already, but it may get quirky under extreme
circumstances (such as very low or very high
temperatures). However, for most uses within the normal
ranges it is fully operational.
You can download the BETA by using the links on the
software page.
And, as I have already said, feel free to sumbit bugs
and/or feedback by using the Contact Us page.
I hope you find this little app useful and remember,
suggestions are good to!

As an HVAC student, I needed a solid and fast tool for
calculating moist air properties. Oh yeah, and it had to
be cross-platform and NOT web-based. Since I couldn't
find a piece of software matching this description I
decided to start working on what became PsychromeTree, a
small, light-weigth and cross-platform application that
can calculate the properties of moist air.
The name may seem odd to most
right now, but rest assured, there is a reason for it.
For now the application is very basic and can only
calculate the air properties based on a Dry-Bulb
temperature and a Wet-Bulb temperature, but a new version
that has a few more features is in the making and will be
released soon.
If you are currently using version Alpha-3 (the only
release to date) and you have found a bug, please submit
it using the Contact Us page.
I hope you find this useful! And by the way, the contact
form is not just for bugs... feedback is good to!

Yep, it's true: we like changes. But who doesn't? (Please
don't send me an email reply... that's a rhetorical
question)
The web design business changes fast, and so can we. Be
prepared for more surprises in the near future.
